Bishop Otis Kenner II Guides Readers to Identity in New Faith-filled Book

Destrehan, LA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014

Author Bishop Otis Kenner II, now the presiding bishop at Kingdom Growth Fellowship of United Churches, hasnt always been the man he is today. Subjected to molestation at age 5, he found himself living a life of uncontrollable sexual desires a life he didnt want to live.

Today Kenner is proud of the man hes become, a man with a wife, children and grandchildren. Kenner draws from his life experiences in an effort to help readers uncover their true selves in his new book, I Was Born Like This (published by WestBow Press).

Throughout his book, Kenner discusses what he calls the crux of human nature: inherent sinfulness. He discusses Adam as the original owner of sin, which he uses to back his main point that peoples desires or identity crisis issues could possibly be a pre-existing condition.

Where you start is not where you have to stop. I want to empower the readers to embrace their futures and to not camp out in the tombs of their past, to encourage them that what is before them in Christ Jesus the Lord is greater than what is behind them, in Adam, Kenner says.

With his book, Kenner hopes to help others who were subjected to molestation, and those that struggle with identity problems, as he himself once did.
